Pros

Community is good, growing & smaller so one can really contribute to certain directions.

Cons

Boring and repetitive core responsibilities, metrics to determine personal efficacy seemed impossible to determine.

Pros

There is a lot of flexibility in the job which is great for anyone with a family. For a small business the benefits are pretty fantastic: Health, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental plans are available. In the past few years that healthcare has been offered, the prices for premiums have decreased rather than increase. It's a 1st shift schedule which is great. The owner and upper management really take care of the employees, if there is ever a shortage of work that causes the facility to shut down employees are sent home and still paid for their scheduled shift. The quotas are easily attainable and incentive programs are also attainable. All employees can receive an attendance bonus of a dollar more per hour just for working their scheduled 40 hour work week and on top of that there is an additional production bonus based off of the productivity of the warehouse production staff. The company provides a monthly catered lunch as well as a summer family oriented outing like company paid outing to the Indianapolis Indians game and the annual company Christmas party. Also employees are able to purchase inventory at an extremely deep discount that all other employers would never consider doing. This company has grown at an extremely great rate and we are constantly hiring, it does conduct drug screens and background checks on potential employees and we are a felon friendly employer.

Cons

It's a small business and since it's an Amazon fulfilled business change can happen frequently to occasionally. I wouldn't consider that a serious con about the job, it's easy to adapt to and the company provides any necessary training and tools to adapt to any changes that may come.

Pros

They would occasionally provide lunch

Cons

BEWARE- This company is not what it seems to be. They post job openings for "Administrative Assistant", and then they interview candidates only to low-ball them with an offer to work in the warehouse in order to "work their way up the chain". There is no Administrative Assistant position in existence even though they have been interviewing for months. The warehouse positions say you make up to $12.75/hr but in reality it is $9/hr. They promise bonuses, but not until after 3 weeks of "training" that is actually over in a few days. After that they use you as cheap labor until you qualify for an attendance bonus ($1 for making 40 hours that week) and varying production bonuses (a few cents to maybe $2) for a whopping $11/hr IF YOU ARE LUCKY. Company promises to provide benefits and paid time off but keeps moving the date back as soon as the deadline appears on the horizon. Management is a joke. They employ felons (even though they claim to conduct background checks on all employees) and violence in the work place is somewhat common- offenders are not terminated. I quit after finding a safer place to work. JUST KEEP LOOKING- DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
