Drama and cut throatness is very minimal, management knows you and will work with you in just about every situation.

Pay could be better, but it is improving even since I started.

Lots of time to get good at what you do (because of overtime). They’re ethical, if you’re definition is that they just aren’t outright unethical. Commitment to safety is high.

Pay is mediocre. Per diem is mediocre. Benefits are, giving the company the benefit of the doubt, mediocre. (No real bonus. No real retirement. No real healthcare.) “Leadership” is, at best, mediocre. Mid-level managers are awful, just awful. They like to think they’re really doing something for employees, but with the opportunities around, they have to be putting on an act.
