Pros

- Good product for runtime security - CTO has a good brandawareness in the market with wireshark - support team/post sales teams are world class

Cons

- Sr Sales leadership is outdated. Old school approach - Nepotism and lots of politics across the sales org. You need to know the top people or it is complicated - Silent layoff in December out of the blue (when they said the jobs were safe)

Pros

A typical day at Sysdig is fast-paced, collaborative, and full of problem-solving. You’re constantly learning — whether it’s cloud security, Kubernetes, or how to work cross-functionally with incredibly smart teammates. Management is transparent, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping people grow, not just hit numbers. The culture is one of ownership, humility, and teamwork; people jump in to help each other without ego. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the rapid change of the cloud-native world, but that’s also what keeps the work exciting. The most enjoyable part is seeing the direct impact of your work on customers and knowing you’re working with a team that truly cares. Sysdig is a place where you feel challenged, supported, and proud of what you build together.

Cons

The main challenge is that Sysdig is shifting toward incorporating agentic AI into the next generation of its product, so some teams are still adapting to new workflows and evolving priorities. It’s an exciting transition, but it does require flexibility as the organization moves quickly to innovate.
