Stable job with lots of peer support corporate structure supports individualism and creativity encourages technical competency by reading papers etc Managers are generally technically competent and are willing to support employees
Cons
could be more innovative. Management should give out "brainstorming" sessions. Some decision are made by "higher up" and does not involve engineers Corporate spirit is becoming stale in recent years
