Pros
The ONLY pro was the close retlationships built by the incredible people doing the actual work.
Cons
Way to many to write here but overall the major cons were: - The EXTREME disconnect between management and the incredible employees producing quality work even though every project was told to us that it is “rush, rush, rush” - The turn over rate, even for agency life was insane. (That should tell management something isn’t working, but why would they want to listen to their unhappy employees...) - Insane micromanaging and if you weren’t on the “inside”, there was nothing you could do that was good enough. Which consequently created an uncomfortable work environment. - ZERO discretion from upper management as it pertained to evaluating mid and lower level employees. - Constant “passing the buck”. - Zero effort to create an efficient and happy team environment. Always expected to work not only till 8-9 pm every weekday but the same was expected EVERY weekend as well. ZERO work/life balance. And yet, we were told to only bill 40 hours a week. It was just an overall hostile work environment based on outdated processes and upper management who were condescending and not as intelligent as they believed themselves to be. Stay away.
