Pros

There are no pro's; normally I would say that the shift work means that you may be able to attend Uni or other outside of work commitments, however Uni students were recently warned that it is the job first or leave

Cons

Everything. Management lie, they are never honest; they couldn't care less about the staff they employ. The favouritism is ridiculous and can be seen by EVERYONE. Company policies are disregarded when it suits management, however you can get borderline fired for not following them yourself. Bullying and harassment claims are never investigated or actioned. The managers themselves fuel the culture of workplace bullying and harassment by covering up for those who commit them. I would warn anyone against applying to work here, the pay is atrocious, the work load is ridiculously more than what you get paid for. This job has caused several employees to become depressed and anxious whenever at work or thinking about work. Just don't do it. Don't apply. Anywhere else is better than this workplace, at this airport specifically. (Cannot speak for any other locations/ports)

Pros

There is a sense of family culture at the airside level, and that was one of the few genuinely positive parts of the experience.

Cons

Unfortunately, the overall environment was overshadowed by micromanagement and a culture where communication often felt dishonest. There were situations where it seemed like management claimed conversations or warnings had happened when they had not, only to move quickly to write employees up. The lack of consistency and trust made the workplace frustrating and difficult to navigate. There also seemed to be high turnover, along with very little clear direction or path for growth. On top of that, some business practices came across as focused on avoiding providing proper benefits, which left a negative impression.
