The nature of being a lifeguard can be strange because they want to have people fill out forms for every incident that you help someone, but it just isn't practical, so most lifeguards avoid administering care to people. When I became a manager my second summer, my supervisor didn't review with me how to measure the pool's ph, and that resulted in all of us lifeguards reporting it incorrectly. My supervisor got super mad at me because of that.
