      Pros

      The people I worked with were incredible. I made lifelong friends there and we encouraged each other constantly. There was no competition, we would hang out outside of work and text. It was such a joyful and fun atmosphere the vast majority of the time.

      Cons

      You’re working minimum wage and A LOT is expected of you. I came in early, stayed late, worked in a different store than assigned, worked late nights occasionally. I did all of this voluntarily because I loved the work environment but it took a while to realise that I was being asked far too much of me for the rate I was being paid and the contract I was on.

      Limited support from regional and district leadership, particularly in satellite locations, which can feel isolating High turnover due to relatively low pay for Crystal Experts and Assistant Managers Budget constraints make it difficult to recruit and retain experienced, high-performing talent Teams may require significant development due to lower wage tiers, increasing workload and pressure on management Store conditions in some locations feel outdated, with limited investment in remodels or upgrades Compensation structure for hourly roles does not always align with expectations or workload
