Pros
Most of the colleagues are really nice, friends even, quite some people hang out after work. In quite some cases, you can get promoted quite quickly as the company grows.
Cons
First “warning”, there is a big investor in Swapfiets, this means that you get a lot of overcomplicated systems to get stuff done. Also, friend-politics, investor friends and trainees are randomly put in to the organisation. The salaries are quite sub-par, also for a “start-up” (with over a 1000 employees), you get a lot of responsibilities, not the pay. Be aware, I found out the hard way that even though you get a pension plan, it is one of the most expensive ones on the employee end and with the salaries that are slim, you could be unpleasantly surprised with your first paycheck. The office is a matter of taste, it is an old and dirty start-up cell building, they done it up creatively but it is a dirty hole in an unconvenient location.
