Pros
Talented colleagues who care about improving healthcare systems. Everyone is extremely helpful and always happy to set aside time with you, and feedback on projects is welcome. Genuine interest in understanding and helping our clients. Flexible and supportive management that let you approach the tasks in your own way. The management listens to advice and actions most feedback directly and quickly. Focus on career development, with detailed and gradual progression across all levels. The CEO clearly cares about the mission of having positive social impact across the healthcare space, and all of the senior management work very hard to make that happen. All of the recent hires (including senior management) are very competent at their roles and come across as collaborative with each other.
Cons
Less time to freely explore ideas as most work is tied to client deliverables. The amount of work fluctuates over the year, and while the management is flexible, the culture expects commitment to the projects we do - this can translate to longer and less predictable work hours around deadlines (though I only worked 2 weekends over the past 2 years, and those were voluntary). If you are non-US it may be less fitting for someone who wants a fixed 9-5, as you'll work best if you occasionally opt in to evening meetings with your US colleagues (though on balance they don't mind how long you work, so you can start later or take longer breaks). The priorities shift and new projects that need support regularly spin up, this can mean less ownership over your existing work as you often get rotated away from projects you are on.
