Pros

The best thing about working at SN has always been the amazing team members. Even though we are all remote, the teamwork and collaboration are better than most in-office environments. Work-life balance has gotten so much better and the trust and transparency within the company has come a long way. I am happy to be a part of this company and working within a great structure.

Cons

Pay is still a little on the low side for what I have seen offered at comparative companies but hopefully as SN continues to grow, that will change. Health care benefits for those who need it take a big bite out of pay.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review. We made changes to our insurance benefits and are very proud to offer health insurance options for our employees at a cost of less than $100 per month. As Surgical Notes continues to grow, we look forward to new ways to bring our team members together to give them the opportunity to develop strong, collaborative relationships. As for the pay, we do perform market analysis annually to compare Surgical Notes’ salary bands to others in the healthcare industry and make adjustments as needed. We review all teammate pay during our annual merit review. If you have suggestions feel free to notify human resources anytime at hr@surgicalnotes.com.

Pros

Remote work is the only pro

Cons

The micro management is awful even at the director level. The turnover is high. Pay is low. The staff is unhappy. The clients are unhappy. The systems are outdated. The employees are so overwhelmed and overworked and no one receives training.
