Too many mangers, not enough managing. Sprint plans and work estimation are done behind closed doors only to be passed to a dev. Any sprint items not completed were just moved over to next sprint with no real discussion on how to avoid such a thing in future sprints. I’ve never seen a successful sprint burn down. This pretty much damages moral feeling like nothing is being achieved. Lack of communication is a big part of SureView, although granted in the UK development office there have been improvements. There is nothing worst than being asked about SureView solutions and tech when you your self are not aware such a thing even existing. It’s embarrassing. The US team really need to up their game, more so considering the solutions architect and CTO are based in the USA. This pretty much adds to the culture of us and them, along with a healthy dose of untrusted. SureView pay is below average for the Swansea market. More so when you consider the work developers are expected to carry out. Developers are not only devs, but support, customer service etc etc. Yearly pay review.
