Pros
If you’re reading this and hoping for a silver lining, don’t waste your time - in my experience, there isn’t one. The company has been stripped for parts by poor leadership, short-sighted planning, and private equity ownership that prioritizes cost-cutting over people. Remote work may sound like a perk, but in practice it only insulates leadership from the consequences of their decisions.
Cons
A rebrand doesn’t change what’s underneath. At the core, this company is still SLWM - “SupplyLogicWebbMason.” Before considering employment, partnerships, or business dealings, do your research. Public records reflect ongoing litigation involving both former employees and suppliers, and a new name doesn’t erase that history. This company has endured constant leadership turnover. The revolving C-suite has left employees and clients without clear vision, direction, or stability - three CEOs in as many years, multiple CFO changes, and only a skeleton sales team left in place. For years, the refrain has been “rebuilding,” but in practice layoffs, system breakdowns, and eroding trust have only accelerated. Leadership changes have not solved the issues. Decisions often prioritize appearances over substance, leaving staff and vendors frustrated. Restructures are frequent, but the cycle feels the same: overpromise, underdeliver, and shift blame. Layoffs have been handled without care, and clients outside of a few key accounts often felt deprioritized. Public records show multiple lawsuits involving former employees and suppliers, as well as executive turnover and divestitures. While the company presents itself as rebuilding, many who have worked with them view it as a business in serious ongoing decline. Do your research before considering employment, partnerships, or business dealings here.
