Pros
Most of the colleagues are nice and supportive, but unable to help much or make a difference because they are also drowning. Department and company undergoing expansion during my time, many new positions within department and organization. Huge potential with the foreign investment by the European MNC. Left before it took place.
Cons
Turnover within the department was astronomically high. Not structured, processes are non existent, we eat ambiguity for breakfast and lunch on a daily basis. Instructions and directions may change in a matter of seconds and unrealistic deadlines are often given. Work life balance are non existent. Text messages and work emails from superiors after office hours or during non work days through private and work channels are common, many of which are for you to make immediate actions. If you miss replying on text even during your non working hours or days for "urgent matters" an hour or so, be expected to be spammed texted or called. You don't feel properly rested as you are are unable to disconnect and wind down after the already 5 days of "intense battles" every week. Everybody looks like they are drowning and resources are being shifted rapidly across without much thought or planning, even though it is with good intentions to help, but it usually backfires and demotivates. People suffering in silence but not willing to speak out as they believe that speaking out will not make a difference. Compensation and benefit package are not competitive. Provides only the very basic at a similarly very basic amount.
