Pros
Great sales training. Sales is tough, they go really in depth and invest heavily in their sales infrastructure. If you want to get experience at selling and learn how to do it the right way, this is a great opportunity.
Cons
The COO talks too much and is way to vocal about what he is doing and why he is doing it. He is way to open about people's personal lives to other members of the staff and straight up yells at people and talks about their personal development stuff in front of everyone else, this made me really uncomfortable. Next, the senior sales staff there (I worked in sales) acted like a bunch of 14 year old girls, and these were 30 year old men. Every time I would sit at my desk the two behind me would be whispering to each other about some of the latest gossip and what was happening with other people in the office. 30 year old men were acting like this. Not that you should actually be surprised by this, the majority of the people working there were not very mature or intelligent, this seeming to be as good as it gets for them. Which makes it very unsurprising that employee turnover was so high (like ridiculously high). This can also be explained by the fact that the COO would regularly send out emails about how you needed to "pay for yourself" by making sales and that if you were slacking he would question whether you were "sunlighten material." This was the point where I determined my time was much too valuable for this. Furthermore, you are forced to pay for the lunches the chef provides (even if you aren't there that day), which wouldn't be a big deal if it didn't cost 9 dollars. Also, the company has almost gone bankrupt multiple times, this is pretty much because COGS on these saunas is absolutely insane, which is to be expected. You're going to work long hours for crap pay as you don't actually get paid commission if you don't meet a certain amount of sales per month. Honestly, this job sucks and you should only do it if you are actually interested in it. Not to mention, management honestly doesn't care about you or anyone there. They like to pretend they do but the facade is terrible and they will work you to the bone and throw you out once you're done. This is because the company is so expensive to run that I find it amazing they haven't gone bankrupt yet. It seems like the owners just thought this was a good idea and went for it, realized that it was a bad idea but refused to quit. You can almost see the look of regret in their eyes as the pain and burden of running this company has obviously not brought them what they wanted. Everyone there seems terrified and there is this unspoken air of uncertainty that I couldn't shake off from the moment I arrived there, as if I better watch what I say and do because everything was so controlled. I will be very honest here and tell you all something I have not told anyone before: I considered committing suicide while I was there. The thought of having to go back in there every day and being told to pay for myself and to listen to these children talk about each other behind their backs (and wonder what they were saying about me) was too much. Bottom line: you most likely will not find happiness here. They will pump you up in the interview and tell you whatever you want to hear about becoming rich but you will not get rich doing this job and selling these saunas is so much more difficult than what they tell you it is.
