Pros

The benefits were amazing and the pay was competitive. They had a good routine of holding conferences regarding patient-related safety issues.

Cons

Loss of emergency medicine accreditation, loss of streamlined care, staff on 3W neuroscience trauma were VERY CATTY, EAT THEIR YOUNG, GOSSIP 24/7, TALK NEGATIVELY ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, ALL BREAK AT THE SAME TIME AND LEFT ME TO ATTEND TO THE ENTIRE FLOOR, NEGLECT PATIENTS. Very disappointed in the professionalism and patient satisfaction. Felt as if I was the only RN who took time to form relationships with the patients. Staff walked in and out of rooms to give meds then sat around the nurses station to goof around and expected techs/aids to attend to all the needs of the patients while their IVs ran dry.

Pros

Excellent pay for LPN with 10+ years in nursing. Usual 12 hour schedule.

Cons

Horrible time off policy. No matter what you call off for it is always a point against you, doctors excuse or not..

Pros

1. The work is consistent and instructions are easy to follow. 2. With a few exceptions, the management is usually easy to get a hold of.

Cons

1. The training can vary widely across offices, and coworkers may argue with you about the manner in which you complete tasks according to differing training resources/experiences. 2. The drama and blatant discrimination alone between staff is not worth the hassle. For example, upper management turns a blind eye to staff who are subversively racist towards patients (i.e. refusing to room patients who are BIPOC) and allowed a patient to be racist towards a black staff member and refused to ban the patient from returning despite making my coworker feel physically unsafe. 3. Why do we have any copays as employees using the employer-sponsored insurance to our own employer hospital??? It makes no sense whatsoever and it's honestly financially predatory, because they know their employees can't afford Marketplace insurance. 3. If you are Autistic, have ADHD, or any other neurodiversity, be prepared for management to nit-pick and ultimately fire you for minor mistakes related to your disability!!!! 4. Opportunities for employee growth, training resources/certifications, and other various tools for employees are difficult to locate on the corporate website.
