Pros

1.Flat Org Structure - Employees at all levels end up getting experience which they would get if they were at least 2 levels up in any other organization 2. Clear line of thought - The CEO and the board have a clear vision and line of thought on where they want to see the business in the long term and all decisions are towards achieving that goal 3. Opportunities to grow internally - within and cross functional. The organization is open to move people within functions giving employees to get a rounded off experience which helps them grow professionally. What is more important is that the organization is patient enough and allows employees time to settle down and deliver in their new roles and not start expecting magic from day 0. 4. Balances out work with fun. Relaxed atmosphere on the floor. Regular business updates to the entire team means everyone knows what their work is helping achieve

Cons

1. The organization is in a growth phase , so some days can get stretched. 2. Agility means some decisions may need to be reversed or require course correction, which means some duplication of work

Pros

You will learn extremely well how to shift blame effectively. You will become very skilled at writing RCAs to justify issues. And most importantly, you will gain strong experience in navigating office politics.

Cons

It’s very misleading – let me explain. I initially received a call from Landmark Group HR. I cleared the interview process assuming the role was for Landmark. However, when I received the offer, it was from a company called Neom, for which you will hardly find any traces in the public domain linking it clearly to Landmark. Also note that this can even create issues with banks, as the company name may not meet their usual lending criteria. Later, I was deployed to Styli, which is an online fast-fashion company. Firstly, I was never told that I would actually be joining Styli. Had I known this earlier, I would have checked the Glassdoor reviews and likely avoided getting into this situation. This entire interview and onboarding process felt completely non-transparent. Throughout the process they present it as if you are interviewing for Landmark, but in reality the offer comes from Neom and the actual company you end up working for is Styli. It almost feels designed so that candidates do not do proper background checks or read reviews beforehand. Tech team functioning and daily routine In the last few months, almost entire tech leadership is already left the company, and the CTO is also on the notice period. The entire team seems to be working on random tasks with no clear direction. Half of the team does not even know what they will be working on the next day. Work allocation feels completely random and ad hoc. The remained leaders in dubai office practically runs the show. Mainly manages the leadership above them but lacks technical aspects of the system and how things actually work. favourism is extremely rampant and open, every one knows about it except the senior leader ship, only few selected close members gets the exposure and awards, no value for hard work or talent if you dont belong in this circle. The team size appears unnecessarily large when you see the kind of work team is delivering. Team Culture As many comments here from the past already mention, I completely second them – it is exactly as described. It is a political environment more than anything else. If there is one thing you will definitely learn here, it is office politics. The environment feels extremely political. Management also believes in dropping sudden “bombs” of surprises. A recent example is closing a engineering team location which was operating from other state. I honestly do not understand why there is no stronger audit or oversight from Landmark Group, because I am sure such behavior would normally not be encouraged there and would likely have been addressed. I would definitely not have joined this company if I had known the reality and read the Glassdoor reviews beforehand. Please read this and other comments before making a decision.
