Pros

Before joining studio fra ,I was looking for a design agency which is specialised in UX/UI and studio fra seemed good to me based on the portfolio and company values. First when I joined I thought it will be boring because of few employees and small studio but later found out that the studio theme is set to encourage creativity ,peace and I started liking it more and able to think creatively and come up with more ideas. My primary role here was as an UX designer , where I create user researchs, story boarding and wire frames and also got a chance to work on my UI skills and improve them. Over my 3 months internship at studio fra I learnt many things like time management for project completion ,conducting efficient secondary researchs and many things which sharped my ux skills . Every project I have worked on was interesting and inspired me to be more creative , also with the constructive feedback I learnt my flaws . The founder Jeevan jonas when I first met thought was a serious person, But he turned out to be very friendly and empathetic .Every time when I had any personal problem he understood and helped even when there was a near project deadline . The company is choosy in taking projects and always selects the best one which is interesting . Compared to other companies ,internship at studio fra doesn’t really feels like an internship ,you enjoy the work , will have full creative freedom and appreciation for your work , and learn a lot fast. The studio has a white theme which feels more peaceful to work which not only calms mind but also sparks creativity.

Cons

Nothing much , would suggest to keep an electric kettle in studio to make black coffee or tea whenever we feel drowsy.

Pros

My expectations before joining Studio Fra were to explore the different types of style that would enhance my sense of design. Started of slowly as I was getting to know the industry standards but as we progressed so did my work and my learning. I understood my learnings in Graphic Designing but through a different perspective while interacting with my senior and co-worker. I developed a better understanding towards my end users and their goals and thus helping me better my design process. There’s a sense of open-mindedness in our discussion. The brand values of Studio Fra are: personalized, professionally crafted, attention to detail, research based. The aspects I like are: the process that we follow while designing solutions, understanding the relevant trends. The place work is: amazing, which provides you with a clear head-space as it is very spacious, aesthetically pleasing. The activities that they organize gives you a good break to clear your mental block

Cons

Can't think of any as of now.

Pros

I had a lot of opportunities for being involved in redesigning better UX for different clients, designing products from scratch; redesigning websites and applications, etc. A lot of work revolved around in-house projects, fostering a lot of space for creative explorations. StudioFra is invested in a user centred design (UCD) process that has been laid down by IDEO. It is very conscious of this process and stitches it to all the projects. StudioFra also conducts design sprints as a way to keep abreast with the clarity in each phase of the design process. StudioFra keeps updating its outlook on design with the emerging trends in the field and doesn’t let itself leave behind the track.he founder, Jeevan is a very well organised person and is quiet delightful to converse with as you get to know him better. Jeevan is quiet conscious about his employees and tries to keep them at ease. There are days where we all go for a walk in the park, just to talk about what is happening in each others life, or about design or about how everyone perceives the world, what they are most concerned and motivated about. It was for sure, a delightful experience for a person like me. StudioFra strives to aim at the future. Even though the company is small, its vision is way bigger than itself. It believes in designing for the future. It believes in working on projects the hold a lot of meaning; to bring solutions to difficult problems, to design products that foster the habit of learning. It believes in simplicity and to stand apart from the crowd. The best aspects of the internship was the meaningful conversation I had with my mentor and the wonderful yet amazing workspace provided. The work culture is a very relaxed one, which lets you know that the employee’s personal life is given equal importance.

Cons

The initial days at the office seem a bit disoriented as you feel that the work structure seems to be unorganised. The founder, Jeevan seems to be a pretty reserved guy and feels less interactive. But both these start to change after a while as clarity starts to improve with respect to work culture and as Jeevan gets to know you better.
