I feel dirty for having worked there - Anonymous employee Strayer University Employee Review

I did not realize how much of scam for-profit institutions are until I worked here. Everything is driven only by profit. Any benefit the students get is from the independent initiative of the faculty (who are rarely tenured). I feel guilty for having worked at an institution that has such little regard for the well-being of others. Students take on massive debt to get a degree that is all but worthless and a crash course in remedial subjects.
