Pros

Great products, not much else.

Cons

Where to start with this one. This company is completely dysfunctional from top to bottom. The CEO is, in my opinion, the main culprit here. He has taken the business model implemented in overseas markets and has tried to force it within the American healthcare system, which, anyone wise enough to know, isn't going to ever work. He doesn't like to be offered any suggestions or potential solutions that aren't his own ideas. They have no managed care, even though we were told years ago that it would be coming soon and still nothing. They went through three specialty pharmacies during my time there because all were awful to work with. They attempted to acquire managed care by putting an emphasis on prior-auth pull-throughs, and yet when they introduced the most recent specialty pharmacy, they told us they were setting it up to where a PA would only be done on the second tube dispensed. We were averaging 1.2 tubes dispensed...When we questioned this move, they looked at us like we were stupid. Just like our accounts did when we told them this is how it would work. We'd sell the doctors/clinics on the products, but as soon as they would begin writing scripts, they would soon learn that nobody is covered and, as a result, would stop writing because of complaints from the patients about the cost of the products. Because they never could get the pharmacy and managed care situation figured out, our numbers slowly declined due to something out of our control, and because the numbers declined, they would constantly lay-off solid, hard-working employees with no warning whatsoever. You would literally feel like you were on an island by yourself most of the time. I went through 4 managers in the 2.4 years I was there. There were probably upwards of 50 field reps working when I was brought on. There's now maybe 2 left...When I was originally hired, I was brought on to work in their Rx side of the business and then shortly after, they merged us with the OTC side effectively taking over another job with a very minimal pay increase. Not long ago, they decided to start listing their products on Amazon and my OTC accounts were becoming aware of this and I was forced to bold-face lie to them about it, but it still ultimately undercut my business in my territory. I was consistently one of their top performers and was on track to have my best month of the year when they let me go out of the blue. I expect the US operations to fold soon. If you're fresh out of college and looking for experience in the pharma space, then this might be a short-term option to build your resume with, otherwise, steer clear of this company and their awful reputation.
