Pros
Friendly co-workers who work well as a team, family-like atmosphere at times, flexible hours when needed.
Cons
Starting pay is low no matter the position (management uses this tactic and will increase pay if an employee threatens to quit assuming they are a good at what they do), insurance benefits are extremely expensive, no room for personal growth, management is never around making communication very difficult (and this is a communications company too by the way), no job description is given (so you never really know what is entirely expected of you to succeed), the company has known difficulties paying their bills to vendors and such (vendor credit is turned off most days making purchasing almost impossible, I was even told by management one day to use my own credit card to make a company purchase and they would reimburse me), some employees are expected to use their own personal vehicle for daily travel (compensated at a rate of only $0.31 per mile) while employees who do not need a vehicle for travel, like an employee who draws CAD drawings all day, are given one (yes, very backwards logic indeed), most employees are toxic with an attitude that management has left them with, CEO is a bully to most and when confronted he is most always oblivious to what "actually" is getting done around his company and tends to be quick at "pointing the finger", company has an extremely high turnover rate (you never know how long someone will stick around, so no time to make friends with anyone really).
