Pros

- Some people I worked with are some of the nicest people I've worked with. I believe a lot of them have left now for better opportunities. - Loads to learn about event technology. - Some fairly good perks - travel insurance, health insurance, a yearly wellbeing allowance, a good amount of PTO. - If you are favoured and get assigned a good manager, you have good progression opportunity and it can be a positive experience. I have seen some people thrive here. - Good work/life balance as you are fairly independent/flexible in managing your workload and you're always given days back when working onsite any weekend days.

Cons

Loved it at first but a lot changed which made me feel neglected and under-appreciated: - In the last 6 months of working there, my mental health suffered because of Stova, and when I raised the concern, it was ignored. - People are treated inconsistently depending on who their manager is, plus I felt that there was some favoritism in the company. People in the same role were given more/less opportunity than others and were met with gaslighting and defensiveness if this was questioned. - Some people in the team were given weekly one to ones and a responsive manager. Others, in exactly the same role with different managers, were given a one to one maybe every 3 months and would never receive any responses to emails or messages from their manager. - Responsibility and workload of more senior roles are given to those with junior roles and pay grades (also sold to clients with the more senior title too) with the promise they're preparing you for a promotion which will never materialise - not receiving any financial recognition for the extra work either. - Pay rises nowhere near in line with inflation. - The team could be cliquey and disrespectful at times when onsite. Inappropriate conversation topics were brought up (eg sexist/racist remarks, talking negatively about other team members) that made me a bit uncomfortable. - When applying to Stova, some people were told the starting salary for the role during the interview only to be offered significantly less at offer stage. I've noticed that they've made a huge amount of redundancies recently, so I do wonder if some of the above was purposely disregarded as they wanted people to leave so they could avoid paying out redundancy packages.
