Pros
Commission on sales were good. Company vehicle and tools all provided and good Options for the job and work required, as well as phones and laptops. Field service staff all very good and friendly. The software team very good and helpful. Competitive salary for the work. Training is good.
Cons
Office staff have no clue what they're doing half the time. Ask you to pop in somewhere nearby after completing a job - but it's hours in the opposite direction from your home and you've already got 3/4 hours drive home at end of the day. Went really downhill during pandemic. Staff turnover really high in lots of departments, so constantly people in training who aren't really sure what they are doing. Management are bullies. Be little people and try to gaslight you if you raise concerns. Lots of good people left due to this which is frustrating. They named a toy rat in the office after a colleague who left and make jokes about it all the time so who knows what they say when engineers aren't in the office.
