As a fully remote organization, we are intentional with our meetings and face time across the business, though we are always striving for a balance between efficiency and effective communication, and on the lookout for ways to streamline our meetings. From what you described, it sounds like we didn’t meet your expectations on frequency of meetings or work efficiency, and we take that feedback to heart as we try to grow, evolve our processes, and better serve our team’s needs and working styles.
We are cognizant of giving our employees mind space to think, learn, and create, and we have adjusted our team and company-wide meetings to enable better work-life balance. That said, we do value regular meetings and face-to-face collaboration, as they are an integral part of how we build and maintain our culture, how we constantly innovate, and how we deliver highly reliable service to our clients, despite being fully remote.
As a former teammate, we’re sorry we didn’t get a chance to talk through the concerns you raised, particularly if you had an experience with someone that left you feeling uncomfortable. For all employees, we always encourage direct communication with leaders to share feedback and partnering with our People Operations team when additional guidance and support may be necessary.
