Pros

I didn’t need to use their Benefits, but employees say they are good.

Cons

If you want to go back to middle school, then this place is for you. In the past two years, it’s gotten so much worse! They are understaffed due to the toxicity… leaving new employees untrained and confused or current employees changing positions, to figure out their job on their own. You will be overworked, overwhelmed and then some of the management will jab with negative comments creating more stress. They should take this time to use as training or learning, but instead, they jab. CEO will say she supports you, but those are just words. She allows the toxicity to continue because it’s easier to ignore it then actually do anything about it. The negativity is out of control!!

Pros

Truly helps the community, and has seemingly endless resources available to them for new projects and movements. Very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community in an area where it is very much needed. They *try* to be a tight knit, family-esque work place, but the disconnect between C-Suite and those in non-supervisory roles makes this kind of a fail. However, you can tell the intentions are good, and I think that matters a bit.

Cons

The constant in-fighting amongst staff, several of the staff members are high or otherwise intoxicated most of the time, and their pay scale is awful. Paying therapists $21/hr to take on excessive case-loads, registration staff barely making more than teenagers in fast food, and their medical staff is not paid nearly enough for the workload they have to carry. Lot's of gossip from a small, multidisciplinary group of individuals that spend entirely too much time tracking the work-day, and personal lives of other staff members then discussing it.
