Pros

The entry level training is excellent and hard to receive elsewhere in the area. If you're looking to pursue a career in electrical engineering on aircraft this is the place to start. They work around school schedules within reason and permit time off for important issues that may arise. Also decent pay relative to the local economy. Most people in the technical services department start at around $11.00 per hour with a raise at 6mo-1 yr. Raises are generally between $1.00 and $2.00 per hour, tending to cap out at around $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Although some make more.

Cons

There is not a lot of room for advancement. It is still a relatively young company (10 years old) so the people who are in management positions all got involved with the company early making turnover highly unlikely. Still relatively low pay for the type of work. Companies in places like Wichita, KS which have the same economic conditions (according to CNN Money cost of living calculator) pay upwards of $30.00 per hour entry level. Although the majority of the companies money is made from technical services, which are mostly non-degreed, the engineers make far more due to their degree.
