Stagnant and Demotivating. TCS/Infosys of big banks. - Software Development Engineer (SDE) Standard Chartered Bank Employee Review

They have a irrational policy of paying people based on which college you come from even though you're part of the same onboarding process, work in the same team and the same project, which is straight up demotivating. There's even distinctions within tier 1 colleges. There's only a few teams that work on latest tech, in others the work tends to get very stagnant. They pay much less than their competitor banks. Barring the cab facility and subsidized food, the benefits are next to none. Will definitely not recommend for early career.
