Pros
Coworkers look out for each other
Cons
Upper management doesn't understand nor care to understand the needs of a depot to properly function. Too frequently higher ups who never visit the locations nor have ever done the duties of the depot will make decisions that make little sense and lower productivity. When it is attempted to explain how the decision is detrimental to operations or can be implemented better, it is met with a "Do it because we said so or else" type of response. Employees will go years without pay increases despite added work loads. No recognition for hard work and the only benefits are the legally required ones. (There actually used to be one non-required benefit but that was stripped away earlier in the year). Morale has dropped so low that when a coworker announces they found a new job it is met with literal applause.
