Pros
Flexible timing Work from homes Ease of office access If you wanna switch from app dev (or some other domain) to data engineer or Elastic. (all the above points valid, as long as you are in good terms with your manager)
Cons
Office politics No Proper policy (Leave, wfh policies changes according to the whims of HR and management) even managers won't be aware of those You will be allotted leaves and WFH but it'll be frowned upon if you actually go ahead and use it. Work-life balance is a joke here If you resign, you'll be forced to serve 3 months notice with no way to get out (they will kick you out if they think it benefits the company - i.e. if you don't bring revenue to them) - no buyout or no leave balance adjustment (it gets lapsed) You won't be treated as normal employee of company, your hikes will be reverted (eventhough it's not mentioned any where in the hike revision letter) - basically you can't trust their words The bonus that you got for working hard for the entire year will be asked back if you resign before 3 months after getting the bonus (yearly) - Isn't that the bonus for working for the entire year??? You can't point any of these cons out to anyone... if you did, they'll say you have an attitude problem.
