As a Night Audit person, the role itself was quite familiar and straightforward, aligning well with my prior experience. The work conditions were generally fine and conducive to completing the required tasks. The predictability and clear nature of the responsibilities made it a comfortable and manageable position, allowing for efficient execution of nightly duties without significant unexpected challenges.
Cons
Despite my familiarity with this specific type of work and extensive experience in the industry, I encountered significant issues regarding job expectations. I was unfortunately written up for not completing tasks that were demonstrably outside of my job description and direct contractual agreement. When I conscientiously chose not to agree to or sign this write-up, recognizing it as an unfair demand, my employment was subsequently terminated. This experience indicated a concerning disconnect between the established role responsibilities and management's expectations, leading to termination.
