Pros
Sport Clips as a company is awesome. I feel they have great morals, and you definitely can go far in the company as well. They have great classes. I like the fact they offer the mvp experience. Its a great way to bring loyal clients back.
Cons
The owner who owns the Sport Clips I work at, is going to drive it into the ground. She doesn't listen to the manager, let alone the stylists. She thinks stylist are stupid because we do hair. Which is an oxymoron because she owns a salon. She wants us to hold some stupid sign out to help get clients in the door, when really it does NOT help. Word of mouth does that. The store has needed products that we have sold out of for months. We are down to our last gallon of shampoo, and nothing has been done. Let alone all the free hair cut coupons. I am sick of giving my services away for free. To make matters worst, even sending an email about how awful the management in the store is, to a sport clips corporate educator has done nothing to help improve the morale of the store. The assistant manager, who should have been the actual store manager, quit because nothing had changed with the store manager. The store manager leaves whenever she wants, even shopping on company time, will only stay for an hour before leaving to go back home. 2 main girls call off all the time and never get into trouble. But if I show up 10 til the time I am supposed to be there, late at all (when I have Adhd, a brain/mental disorder which causes lateness or time blindness) I get into trouble and get yelled at. I am so sick of the favoritism. I come in, do my job. Treat everyone kindly. She treats one of the new girls as if she didn't know what she was doing, even going as far as to embarrassing her in front of clients, which is highly unprofessional. If i were a client i wouldn't go back to that establishment. I seriously hate going to work because of this, and I am looking for a new job. I hope corporate reads this. You need to reevaluate who owns your salons and who is management. People leave bad managers. and you have a horrible manager.
