Pros

I was just here for the Salary but even that one reason turned out to be just a dream rather nightmare, that I'm glad I was able to wake up from.

Cons

TOO MANY! Saba, the narcissistic CEO. The sole reason why Spocket has a toxic work environment. His self-centered behavior undermines teamwork and collaboration. Employees feel undervalued and unappreciated, which results in low morale and high turnover rates. I'm still hoping that the organizations will address such behavior and promote a culture of respect and empathy to ensure the well-being of their employees. Unfair Financial Consequences: During my stay, I have faced illegal deductions and penalties for issues beyond our control which was financially crippling. It leads to added stress and strain on my budget, impacting my ability to meet other essential expenses. Despite doing my best, working overtime, doing what needed to be done, and allowing myself to be bullied by the CEO, I was still penalized for the negative reviews that were made by the disgusted retailers. It is an unfair and unjust financial burden. The CEO does not have any respect for his employees leading to decreased trust and motivation. Previous employees felt undervalued which made them leave the company.

Pros

none, don't work here, worse, worst

Cons

As a former Customer Support (CS) team member, Spocket is the only company I’ve worked for that financially penalizes employees, often without clear rules or consistency. Penalties can range from $200–$800 CAD, even if you’re meeting KPIs and handling heavy ticket volumes. In CS, context, workload, and past performance are ignored. The culture is extremely money-driven and fear-based. A single delayed response to leadership can result in immediate punishment. These penalties feel less like behavior correction and more like a way to save the company money. The CS team environment is especially toxic. There is no proper workforce management—scheduling is controlled by a long-tenured CS member and appears based on favoritism rather than fairness. Power-tripping is common, and if you fall out of favor or request leave, you can easily be pushed out. HR offers no real protection. I experienced this firsthand. Despite meeting my KPIs, I was terminated after being transparent about a leave request. Performance does not protect CS employees here. Overall, this is a stressful, demoralizing workplace with no psychological safety or growth, especially for Customer Support. I strongly advise against working here.
