They give a lot of promises and make it seem like they care about people and their growth while simultaneously telling you to stay in your lane and don't cause problems. The reality is that there is no opportunities within the company. If you get to manager level then great but there's nothing after that and very few managers are given the resources or support to do their job well and in kind support their staff.
