Pros

- Salary levels were reasonable - Some smart people

Cons

- Maybe Spendesk was a good place to work one day, but it must have been at least 3-4 years ago. It feels like there have been several year's worth of bad decisions and poor leadership hires and the cumulative impact of that together with the current operating model and culture make it unsurprising the company is facing a dire situation - The product is no where near as good as the competition any more and I lack confidence it will regain competitiveness. - Leadership is poor - painfully slow decision-making, lack of visibility and engagement with teams. - Complaisance - especially among team members who have been there several years and don't seem to have noticed market realities.

Pros

The offices are in coworking spaces, you can network and get a better job!

Cons

The company has recently turned into a LinkedIn post generator. The new CEO is clueless about technology and is desperately trying to force AI into everything just so he can sell the company soon. He’s also hired a few of his BCG friends to turn Spendesk into a truly soulless corporation, where everyone competes for the tiny breadcrumbs the C-level execs throw down from their golden tower. The engineering team is the most disengaged group in the company — and for good reason. We’re forced to build the wrong things, and the direction and strategy change every four months. This company offers nothing in terms of growth or a good atmosphere. The culture and values changed the moment the new CEO arrived.. And they changed to nothing.
