Pros
You have the freedom to customize your workspace and call flow, within reason. If there is time between calls, you can read, play solitaire, or do other quiet activities at your desk. They provide a lot of training to try to keep you informed. Charter provides a lot of incentives for sales.
Cons
They changed pay a lot, and not for the better. Management is usually bound by corporate and has little control over policies and procedures. A lot of times there is little to no explanation of why things change. If there is a family emergency or weather related problem, they are not flexible. You get written up for those types of things. There are a lot of expectations of you on the phone calls, and customers can be very stressful, even downright mean. Very gossipy, cliquey place to work, but also made good friends too. Departments are very inconsistent and there is lots of cheating, both making customers upset.
