Pros
If it's the only job you can get, then it's OK to work here. But there are better companies in better industries to work for.
Cons
1. People seem to be placed in middle to upper management positions based on seniority rather than aptitude (noticeable on the TWC side, not sure about the Charter side). 2. Perplexing and short-sided decisions are constantly being made by those who are put in positions in areas they know little about (possibly related to Con #1). 3. Charter upper management teams seem clueless about M&As, and there is an obvious lack of strategy on how to merge Charter, TWC, and Brighthouse (this might contribute to Con #2). 4. For TWC employees, the benefits are worse under Charter (not that the TWC benefits were all that great to begin with). 5. Not that TWC was all that innovative, but Charter is even more focused on minimizing costs than improving products. Former TWC customers will be worst off after than Charter-TWC merger than they would have been under stand-alone TWC or a Comcast-TWC merger (they can thank the FCC for this). 6. Charter in general is a very old school, traditional company. It will get boring and frustrating quickly for high-skilled workers younger than 50.
