Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We are happy to hear that you appreciate the remote work opportunities and flexibility Sovos offers. Remote work is something many of our employees appreciate, but we also understand that there are those among us who need to get out of the house! We offer a variety of in-person opportunities for those who benefit from that environment. Many of our global locations have new, state-of-the-art offices built for the post-Covid world. For those without a physical office, we have several co-working solutions to offer. Creating an environment where our employees can thrive, both personally and professionally, is a top priority for us. I do want to address your frustrations regarding changes in priorities and the challenges posed by a rapidly evolving industry. But our customers and partners have spoken, and spoken loudly, and more of the disparate, disconnected point systems are not what they need. They are not what they want. And, most importantly to us at Sovos, it is not what they are going to continue to buy. They need a singular, comprehensive, global, always-on suite of integrated services to proactively manage compliance. A single source of truth for all their tax data. And while our priorities may shift from week to week or month to month, our focus on building the industry’s only true integrated, complete compliance solution has never wavered. In an industry as rapidly evolving as tax and compliance, where stagnation means falling behind, it’s imperative that we remain agile and adaptable to stay ahead of the curve. We hear your feedback on investing in our current employees before investing in new Executive Leadership roles. And while I understand that new Executive and Senior Leadership hires are flashy and generate a lot of attention, we have actively been working to streamline and reduce management layers, not add more. A streamlined leadership structure can promote agility, innovation, and employee engagement, contributing to the long-term success of our organization. That is not to say we have not added new leaders, you can see that we have. And I view that as a positive. New leadership can inject vision, energy and strategic direction into an organization, driving positive change and positioning a company for future success. Change can be hard, and the kind of transformational change that Sovos is going through right now can be even more challenging. As a new leader, one of the things that brought me to Sovos was the incredible opportunity that lies before us and the work that the teams are putting in to take advantage of this moment. I am constantly inspired by the work our employees put forward daily. Thank you for being a part of that group. If you have any further comments or would like to share ideas, my door is always open. I would love to chat 1:1. Dominic Constandi Chief Customer Officer

Thank you for sharing this, and welcome to the team! It's wonderful to hear that your recruiting experience set such a positive tone from the start. Cassie is a great example of the kind of Sovosians we are proud to have representing our culture, and knowing she made you feel informed and at ease throughout the process genuinely matters to us. We also love hearing that your first day onboarding helped you connect with our values and get a feel for what we do. That experience is something we work hard to get right, and your feedback confirms it's landing the way we intend. We're glad you're here, and we look forward to growing together. Pros

Being Remote and standard benefits

Cons

Sales leadership is horrendous. New people are brought in not trained, aggressive targets (that have never been hit) usually designed to be the escape goats to protect the old guard. Long tenured sales protects the existing power structures. When results slip, they blame newer reps. New hires don’t hit, quotas unrealistic, weak implementation. Nightmare of a company, the worst I have ever worked at.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. Feedback matters, even when we see things differently. Quota-setting and new hire ramp structures are areas we invest in seriously - they're because we want our sellers to win, not to set anyone up to fail. That's the culture we've built, and it's one I'm proud of. That said, I do hear that your experience hasn't matched that intent. If there are specific gaps in how you were onboarded or supported, I'd genuinely like to understand them so we can keep getting better. Please connect with HR or reach out to me directly. We're committed to building a team where every rep has a real shot at success! Alice Katwan, President of Revenue, Sovos
