The absurdly unqualified managers in this department tasked with managing employees whose jobs they couldn't come close to doing themselves. CEOs who knowingly cause burnout and then punish employees for predictably crumbling under impossible workloads with no support. Actually competent employees who are overlooked in favor of mediocre ones who lack the knowledge and courage to risk injuring the new Executive Editor's fragile ego.
