Pros
The only real pros you can find are that there are some really good people who work here. There are managers here that truly care about their teams wellbeing and prioritize protecting their team from the constant nonsense this clown-show of a company tries to throw at us. There's also good employees who care about trying to help the customers we serve. I am grateful for those people.
Cons
I need to help you understand, future candidate DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. They may try and entice you with remote work, but in doing so they will pay you abysmally below market for any role you are in, and ELT will constantly shift the goalposts for what metrics you gotta meet, while not setting you up for success to do so. I thankfully had a good manager but that's not the case for everyone on every team, and you better just hope you get lucky. I've never been a part of a company that truly feels like it's being run by monkey's in a trench coat. and I can guarantee this company is a sinking ship, probably not gonna survive beyond the decade. I don't think ELT has any idea what's actually going on in the business across the board. It's no wonder why so many systems are broken, and so many people are leaving. I know of teams of less than 10 people sustaining an entire product line, that without it would result in millions lost in revenue. There's constant problems but you can't expect anyone to actually do anything about it, because everything is held together by "duct-tape". The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing that Solera cares about is that bottom line, because they're in deep water. Companies that get acquired by Solera go there to do die (whether they know it or not). Please do yourself a favor and turn the other way, there are way better companies out there, and the bar is not set high to do that. I only hope that the good people I've met find better opportunities and don't settle here just because they have to.
