Pros
- Maybe just the office looks good, unlike those corporate office units with the typical office-kind of ceiling. - Learning exposure is very wide.
Cons
- Some HODs never guide their team members at all. When new workers join they look so lost and end up look for other departments for help. - Some HODs can be in their current position today is because of their loyalty and personal relationship with bosses only. They don't even deserve to be in such position because they got no leadership and they don't even know what they are doing at work. Sometimes really feel bad to their team members because they deserve a better HOD tbh... People in managerial levels and HOD only complain about problems and push responsibilities to other people but never try to think of a solution, so meeting with them is just a waste of time because no progress at all. - Biasness is obvious. No gender equality. Isolation between the races are obvious too. On the appearance they try to diversify the people in the company but the culture and mindset are still very Chinese-based. - People tend to 'make friends at work' haha.. end up can't separate work and personal. - Internal system still not advanced... Still have a lot of manual works. Big corporate should adopt communications through Microsoft Teams and not creating vast numbers of group chat on WhatsApp - if not what's the point of subscribing Microsoft package? Never fully utilised it. Separation between work and personal is really questionable. - Upper management always mention about having open communication but they've never had this practice themselves. Workers end up never follow too, that's why miscommunication always happen and become an issue at work and then start blaming people.
