9yThank you taking the time to provide this feedback - I am obviously disappointed that you feel this way about our management.
I appreciate if your role has been terminated it cannot now, or ever ,be a pleasant experience. What I can say is that I don't believe the reason you state would ever be why we would make a change to an employee in SoftwareONE. We have one of the most diverse workforces in our industry (as an example, nearly 50% - 50% Female to Male ratio globally) and are very proud of this fact. We are doing what we can to promote amongst other things gender diversity with intiatives such as "Women in IT" in North America - and we will continue to hire the best people we can.
As it happens, 3 of my own team have recently gone on maternity / paternity leave (Chile, Brazil, Germany) and I am looking forward to having them back - I would expect them to be even higher perfomers than when they left as a result of learning from being new parents.
Of course, like any company, we have to address under performance and if this cannot be recovered through feedback, performance improvement support or other mechanism then change is inevitable.
Having said that, it is our responsibility as leadersto always try to develop high performance - but also help recover when people are under achieving. Given your comments, I will review this process in detail within Texas to make sure this is exemplary. If would be open to it, feel free to write to me confidentially to provide any specific feedback for us to learn from - john.mayes@softwareone.com
I genuinely hope that you find a good environment that gets the best out of your abilities and wish you health and hapiness with your family.
Best regards,
John
