1. Rarely, if ever, received any positive feedback from management, which became extremely demoralizing (despite many well-performing pieces of content)
2. Micromanaging all aspects of content production.
3. Completely changing strategy with very little warning or training, then getting mad when I couldn’t instantly get up to speed.
4. Content and UX strategy doesn’t align with industry best practices.
5. Manager put me on a performance improvement plan, I successfully hit my goals, then they fired me shortly after anyway.
6. Rarely allowed to work from home (this job could very VERY easily be done from home). People worked alone with little to no collaboration.
7. Never opened up for real feedback, only had maybe one single team meeting to discuss strategy during my entire employment.
8. Increased the number of pieces of content per month with no increase in compensation.
9. Removed google analytics, which made it harder to track real content performance.
