It's a great place if you want other people to be telling you what to do and have no proactivity. Just say yes, do the thing, keep your boss happy.
Cons
You are as valuable as your manager thinks you are if they can use you to advance their career within the company. If working conditions suffer and you structure a group to raise your concerns, they'll come up with some excuse to kick you and everyone else who has raised a concern out.
The people that could jump ship taking a different job have jumped ship. Most of the people left are those can benefit from the current system to exploit it and further their career, and those who really need their job to survive.
