Cons
When I started a few years ago, the culture was cool and people worked hard but that has quickly deteriorated. VPs and above have (and have had) little understanding of what company does, and so the general direction of org has shifted frequently. They over-invest in pointless initiatives and don't listen to advice or perspective of executing mid-managers. The company continues to add aspects to the business with … little to no experience or qualification in doing so, namely, the tech aspect (no one uses this, native tools are better) and creative content (this team is a waste of resources.) Overall: -Lack of qualified leadership -Leadership lacks any emotional intelligence -HR is a black hole -Marketing doesn't exist -Company doesn't invest in ancillary teams so they disappear (really talented team members have left due to lack of support and gone to amazing companies.) -Serious violation of nepotism clause -Remote workers rarely contribute but continue to advance, unfair policy -HUGE GENDER PAY GAP! Multiple examples of this and many people have left because of it. -Snacks are not "surplus" and are not good. -401k plans are nothing -The only value on work/life balance is for men who have families (the only ones who don't get dirty looks when they leave at 5) -Did I say gender bias? -Gender bias.Show More
