Example: In a recent training, we were encouraged to no longer use the pronouns he/she when referring to coworkers because somebody who doesn't know what gender they are might be offended. Instead, the accepted pronoun is "they" at Sofi to refer to others. Please don't misunderstand. I am all for treating everybody with respect and love, but this is over the top. If we could all remember this one simple piece of wisdom "love your neighbor as yourself", then there would be no need to be counseled on what pronouns we should or should not use.
