Pros

I spent a few years at SnapApp, and was always challenged to grow. I spent a lot of time working with senior leadership refining my career direction and deepening my skill set while creating some great relationships across the organization. I'm excited to hear about the new approach and product they've brought to market and think it's a step in the right direction to enhance usability and deliver real value for their customers. SnapApp has a unique ability to adapt and move fast when they need to change. That's not something that a lot of companies are capable of doing which made it fun and allowed me to constantly test and evolve.

Cons

Timing and data. It was hard to make data driven decisions due to the nature of the market and the structure of the product. I decided to move on before their new pdf product got traction and wasn't able to see the results of a newly designed product that promised to deliver better insights.

Pros

-Fun work environment: The people are hands down the best part about SnapApp. The company is made up of great people from all different backgrounds who manage to work their hardest while also keeping work fun (Think: frequent Nerf gun battles). -Rapidly growing Culture/HR focus: The company nearly doubled in size over the past few months. With that, came a huge improvement on the HR/Culture side of things. Exciting new employee engagement initiatives, events, and policies have sprung up in record time. Summer Fridays (Say “Bye” to the office at 3 pm!), employee recognition awards, and New Hire Scavenger Hunts are just a few of the culture-focused initiatives that have evolved over the past month or two. -Opportunities for Growth: If you want added responsibilities or new professional opportunities within your position, you just have to ask for them. Managers are very willing to work with you to help you build the skills and experiences you want for your long-term career.

Cons

- Lack of Cross-Departmental Community: After moving to a larger (albeit beautiful) office, the sense of company-wide inclusiveness has suffered a bit. With departments now physically separated, it is very difficult for employees to get to know/interact with those who are not on their specific team.
