Cons
Having been in a few startups, realize this is hard and not for everyone. You need to like working in the grey space, the sometimes undefined, be adaptable and able to change, be flexible, let things roll off your back and keep moving forward. Enjoy celebrating wins, but have the drive and self-motivation to keep going. Promotion occurs when it is recognized, deserved, and the opportunity exists, same as anywhere else. Management is clear that there isn't a direct path for all yet as they are still growing and developing those roles and pathways, so don't expect to be the CEO in a year. Attitude and loyalty are noticed, and when the opportunities to promote arise, they do.
