- Great people, personable and easy to work with. Smaller teams means you do get to know people faster and better
- Fair pay and benefits. Compensated appropriately but salary/growth stagnates during downturns
- Relaxed and autonomous work culture. Managers allow engineers flexibility in their solutions and work approach.
Cons
- Inconsistent. Due to slow and detailed nature of doing business with large carriers, cash flow problems arose when revenue was delayed, leading to stressful shifts and occasional downsizing
- Smaller company. Not a huge pool of talent to learn and grow from, and lacking a lot of the big organization sophistication in organization and tools
