Great place to work - MPS Consultant SmartPrint Employee Review

I have been with SmartPrint for over 3 years now. My role includes some project work, managing a territory and providing second level support/training to customers, contractors and peers. As a technician that likes a challenge and to multi task I have found this company to be perfect for me. I found SmartPrint to have a competitive salary, profit sharing, good benefits and enough diversity in what we do that it keeps me constantly expanding my knowledge which I find to be a big positive. I have dealt the management team right up to the owner and have always found them easily approachable and willing to speak to me with an open mind regarding any concerns or changes I wished to make. I find the team to be full of very talented and easy going people that seem to care about what they are doing. This shows in every aspect of what SmartPrint does which really explains our success. Every year I have watched as we expand and take a stronger hold on the MPS market. As a bonus for everyone’s hard work making the company what it is the owner implemented profit sharing which has been done last 2 years. I look forward to many more years with this company.

I have not had any negative experiences in all the time I have been here.

Some of the people are very nice and talented but those are the ones who are the most unhappy being there.

Lots of turnover and it is the best people who are leaving, either because they realized there are better places or they had the courage to offer constructive criticism on how to do things better and were shown the door. CEO is a "do-nothing" guy who thinks he is some sort of leader but really is just useless with an inflated sense of importance. Lots of infighting between departments.
