Pros

Some really solid co-workers and occasionally a good culture. Life-work balance isn't too bad. Benefits are pretty good, and the company appears to be pretty transparent with their finances.

Cons

Inexperienced management (lots of falling uphill during the last merger). Extremely top heavy company structure (more management than employees in some departments). Very little availability in career paths, and below industry pay. Things are increasingly becoming more bureaucratic and unorganized. Several teams constantly don't hit goals or timelines, and nobody seems to actually care. Also, stop exploiting employees that have more than one "job" at Smarsh. This place is famous for adding on extra work outside of the JD without compensation.

Pros

Decent product, and global market penetration.

Cons

Mergers have been devastating for staff and morale - I saw three in my tenure. Merit does not seem to matter. When new management comes in, everyone is axed.
